Do you take out the trash?

I was going to the supermarket and was about to take out the trash when my hubby stopped me. He said, people would think of him as a bad guy if I would take out the trash. Really? I saw lots of ajumma (old women) taking out some garbages and I don't think people thought something bad about their husbands. For me, it's unusual to see a man taking out the trash although I see lots of them carrying garbages when they go out. Is it the men's job to take out the trash? I don't care! My hubby was too tired to throw away the trash and it's not a big burden for me so I carried it on my way to the supermarket.
Nobody cared about the trash but when somebody saw me carrying two bags of groceries, she said I should have called my hubby and asked him to carry the groceries for me. *Tiriri*. I said the bags weren't heavy. Some of them were just snacks.
I told my hubby about the ajumma that I met on the elevator. He said, don't buy too much groceries next time and he smiled. hehehe...
