Sydney Tower

When we visited Sydney Aquarium, we bought the Di2covery Combo Value Pass, the combination ticket of Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Tower. Hubby said it's better to see the view of Sydney at night. He was right but I couldn't get a better picture.

Wherever you look there is something to see and discover at Sydney Tower. Sydney Tower takes you to the highest point above Sydney for breathtaking 360-degree views of beautiful harbour city, including the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Soaring a quarter of a kilometer above the streets, the Observation Deck is the best vantage point to take in the whole city. You'll be amazed by Sydney's best views. Click pictures to enlarge.

The ticket includes the Oz Trek, an amazing virtual reality ride across Sydney to the wild Australian bush and beyond. Through the magic 3D technology, 180-degree cinema, real-motion seating and special effects, travel across Australia's cultural history and geography. Soar above Sydney iconsm gliding effortlessly over the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and the warm sands of Bondi Beach; feel the exhilaration of white water rafting down a tropical Queensland river; and get right into the jaws of a huge saltwater crocodile. It was really exciting. Sorry, I couldn't take any pictures because taking pictures are not allowed here.

You can also upgrade your ticket for $40 to include Skywalk, Sydney's highest outdoor adventure. Skywalk is an exhilarating 40 minute experience on top of Sydney Tower, a breathtaking 260 metres above the city streets!

By the way, they take pictures of everyone before entering the Sydney tower and you can get your picture with a dvd when you go out but that's another charge of course. If you don't want your picture, then just leave it!

Always wanted to visit Australia and still have plans to go one day. Nice to look at your photographs, Sydney is on my list of places to see when we go.
