Hyde Park

One of the most popular landmark in Sydney is the Hyde Park. It is a large park which is located right in the heart of Sydney City.

The centrepiece of Hyde Park is the majestic Archibald Fountain. The fountain was designed by François Sicard and donated by J.F. Archibald in 1932 in honour of Australia's contribution to the Great War in France.

We went to Sydney to travel and see some famous attractions. We made a schedule of the list of places to visit looking at the book that hubby bought. I can't say that we were unlucky because it was raining when we intended to visit the park. Isn't it more romantic walking in the park with an umbrella? hehehe... No guys, it just rained almost everyday when we were in Sydney so we had nothing to do but went out even when there was rain. Luckily it wasn't heavy rain and it stopped after raining for one or short hours.

I think the park looks more wonderful after the rain.
