Dalat, Vietnam
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
We stayed in Ho Chi Minh for a few days and then moved to Dalat which took us 8 hours by bus. We took the tour bus where most of the passengers were foreigners or backpackers like us.

Here's one of the picture that i've taken on the way to Dalat. We left at 8 a.m. and arrived at past 4p.m. Everyone was tired but enjoyed the sightseeings. It just scared me a little because of the narrow roads and the bus had to climb up and down the mountains.

Da Lat city is probably one of Vietnam's most well known vacation destination. It has been the vacation spot for well-to-do vietnamese and foreigners. It is also popular among honeymooners. This city was spared during the Vietnam war-- the North Vietnamese agreed to not attack, in turn for a hands-off policy on their popular vacation spot in the north.

There was a festival the day that we arrived there so there was a parade at night. My hubby was taking a shower that time and i couldn't go out alone so i just took these pictures from the hotel.

It is cold in Dalat. Most people are wearing long sleeves shirt. And there are lots of famous places to visit like Flower Garden, Xuan Huong Lake, Crazy House, Valley of Love, Waterfalls, etc.
