After the Grand Palace, we decided to go to Wat Pho (i'll tell you about this next time) and then went straight to Wat Arun. We were supposed to go to Vimanmek because the entrance fee is included in the Grand Palace ticket. But we found out that we can use the ticket for a week so we decided to visit the places near the Grand Palace. We walked to the Wat Pho and then to the pier going to Wat Arun.

The famous Wat Arun or better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand it is 104m high.

Wat Arun looks great from a distance rather than close up but seeing it closer made me amaze more because of its great decorations. It looks like people gathered around carrying the tower. And you can even walked up the stairs up to the steep. When i saw people on top climbing up the stairs, i got scared so i just stayed down. I only climbed up few steps just to take a picture. hehehehe..
